Wedgefield Classy Red Hat
Ladies
On September 16th, our “Red Hatters” had a laughing
good time at the “Macaroni Grill”.
Joanne Cobbs, Arlinda Phills and Phyllis Watkins were
the hostesses. Phyllis could not
attend but contributed door prizes. The hostesses
decorated the tables with animated Red
Hat Bears and everyone got a big kick out of the
decorations. Jokes were told and
everyone seemed to be foot loose and fancy free. There
were 13 door prizes and
everyone seemed excited. We sang Happy Birthday to
Joanne Cobbs and Ruth Oliver.
We signed Get Well cards for Alta Deevers and Mary Ann
Kiser.
On October 21st, we are heading to the “I Hop
Restaurant” on the corner of Alafaya Trail
and Mitchell Hammock Road. Nancy Adams, Linda
Descheneaux and Ofelia Aguinaldo
will be the hostesses.
In November the “Red Hatters” will be dining at
“Kee-Wee’s Entertainment Center” in
Winter Springs. We will have our own private room so we
can make a lot of noise. One
of the “Red Hatters”, (Carol Edwards) daughter just
opened up the restaurant in October.
The restaurant has great food and the building has a
bowling alley and a dance hall. Jan
Berglund, Nancy Runyan, Lou Lasley and Bea Christensen
will be the hostesses.
